Luke Colville

VP Aerosystems and Manufacturing

Luke Colville is Aurora’s Vice President of Aerosystems and Manufacturing. He joined Aurora in 2009 as part of the manufacturing engineering team at Aurora’s West Virginia facility. While working at Aurora West Virginia, he also served as the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, overseeing the activities of the manufacturing engineering team for Northrop Grumman’s Global Hawk and Triton and Sikorsky’s CH-53K and S-97 Programs. Luke transitioned to Aurora’s Mississippi facility in 2013 as the General Manager where he led the Gulfstream G500, Sikorsky S-92 and MH-60, and Aurora’s Orion programs.

As Aurora’s Aerosystems Vice President, Luke has overall responsibility and authority for day-to-day operations, including personnel and financial management, community relations, and business development. He also is responsible for overseeing the activities of groups from operations, quality, accounting, safety, engineering, human resources and facilities.

Prior to coming to Aurora Flight Sciences, he worked for Alliant Techsystems (ATK) in both Quality Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering. Luke earned a bachelor of science degree in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University.
