Vice President of Commercial Programs

Diana Siegel is the Vice President of Commercial Programs at Aurora Flight Sciences, a Boeing company. She is responsible for Aurora’s portfolio of programs that aim to improve commercial air transport operations via increased levels of automation and electrification.

Diana and her team develop the underlying technologies required to enable novel forms of air transport for information, cargo and people. Since 2016, she led the design, build and test of Aurora’s prototype autonomous, all-electric, vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) passenger air vehicle – a new category of air vehicle that is envisioned to enable urban air mobility at scale in a not so distant future.

Prior to joining Aurora, Diana worked as a management consultant for the Boston Consulting Group and as a design engineer in various roles in aerospace. She holds a Master of Science degree in Aeronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Queensland, Australia.
