Dan Brady Named to Lead Aurora Aerostructures

Aurora Flight Sciences Corporation today announced that Dan Brady has been named Vice President in charge of Aurora’s Aerostructures business sector.
One of three business sectors at Aurora, Aerostructures provides design-build and build-to-print services to Aurora’s internal and external customers. One of its major programs has been the U.S. Air Force’s Global Hawk Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) where Aurora provides five major subassemblies for prime contractor Northrop Grumman. Aurora’s Aerostructures business has been growing rapidly, with recent major awards on the USAF’s Advanced Composite Cargo Aircraft (ACCA) and Sikorsky Aircraft’s CH-53K.
Brady holds a Bachelor of Science-Aeronautical Engineering degree from Purdue University and a Master of Business Administration degree from C.W. Post Center, Long Island University.
He has over three decades of program management, supply chain and financial experience with Grumman Aerospace, Northrop Grumman and Vought Aircraft Industries, where he most recently served as Director-Global Supply Chain Management, responsible for materiel strategy, demand planning and inventory control, and commodity management/procurement. Prior to his global supply chain job, Brady managed Vought Aircraft activities relating to the delivery of all Boeing and Bell products in the military transport aircraft market.
