aircraft system products that increase our customer’s situational awareness and
mission effectiveness.
Leveraging the company's expertise in unmanned, optionally piloted and prototype
aircraft, the Development team can mature a design and reach flight quickly and
affordably. With an average of one new flying prototype per year over its 22 years
of operation, Aurora has a proven history of achievement and the experience to take
the most challenging air vehicle designs from concept to product in record time.
UAS Programs is the home of Aurora’s Centaur, Excalibur, GoldenEye, Orion,
S-97 Raider and the Sunlight Eagle products, built on our strengths in aeronautical
sciences, structural design and testing, control sciences, avionics, software, tooling,
advanced propulsion, Vertical Take Off and Landing (VTOL) and payload integration
and test.

UAS Programs is also the location of the Conceptual Design Group providing
analysis and design for programs in their infancy including trade studies and vehicle
design optimization for internal and external customers.
