Quality Systems
Aurora's commitment to quality and repeatable corporate processes is demonstrated
by the company's ISO 9001:2000 and AS 9100:2004 certifications. In addition to these
certifications, Aurora has earned a number of prime contractor process certifications
as well as Nadcap accreditations in Quality Systems, Chemical Processing, Heat Treat,

ultrasonic C-scan, and two Panametrics Freescan Epoch IV C-scan systems to ensure
composite fabricated parts and structurally bonded parts meet customer specifications,
along with Fluorescent and Liquid Penetrant inspections. Aurora also uses multiple
measurement systems throughout the manufacturing process, including: an eight foot
FARO Arm portable CMM, a Brown and Sharp Global Fx Model 7107 Air Bearing CMM with
a 28” x 40” capability, a 150 foot FARO Lasertracker, a three foot by five foot
optical inspection bench, Rockwell hardness, Electrical Conductivity and dye penetrant
inspection systems. Destructive material testing is performed utilizing a 10,000
pound capacity Tinius Olsen Tester Model H50KS.
